Dr. Rashmi Nair is a distinguished paediatrician, with over 2 decades of international clinical experience, including more than 16 years of dedicated expertise in paediatric critical care. She has extensive experience in managing complex and critically ill children, delivering evidence-based, high-quality care across a broad spectrum of paediatric conditions.
She has previously served as Faculty in the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health and as Head of the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at the University of Nairobi/ Kenyatta National Hospital, Kenya. She also served as Director of the Fellowship program in Paediatric Emergency and Critical Care at the University of Nairobi.
A former Head of Department of Paediatrics at Lakeshore Hospital, Kochi, she brings proven leadership experience in building and guiding high-performing paediatric teams.
Dr. Rashmi has held prominent international leadership roles, including Chairperson of the European Board of Paediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care (EBPNIC) and Board Member of the Global Initiative for Children’s Surgery.
She has a strong academic portfolio, with over 35 publications in reputed international peer-reviewed journals, and is an invited international speaker at various paediatric and critical care forums and remains actively engaged in clinical research and academic initiatives.
