Dr. Rashmi Nair is a highly accomplished Paediatrician with specialized expertise in Paediatric Critical Care Medicine, Paediatric Infectious Diseases, and Paediatric Allergy & Asthma. Her clinical work spans preventive, promotive, and curative paediatrics, managing both simple and complex childhood illnesses across diverse healthcare settings.
She has played a pivotal role in the development of Paediatric Critical Care services internationally, including spearheading the establishment of a Paediatric Critical Care Unit at Kenyatta National Hospital, Kenya, significantly improving outcomes for critically ill children. Dr. Rashmi is also deeply involved in medical education, contributing to undergraduate, postgraduate, and fellowship training programs, and in implementing protocols for early recognition and management of critically ill children.
