Dr. Jaya Prakash is a highly experienced Clinical Oncologist with over 34 years of expertise in chemotherapy and radiotherapy for solid malignancies. With more than two decades of focused experience in Gynaec Oncology and Uro-Oncology, he has played a significant role in advancing cancer care and academic oncology in India.

A former Professor and Head of the Department of Radiotherapy & Clinical Oncology at Regional Cancer Centre (RCC), Trivandrum, Dr. Jaya Prakash has extensive teaching experience spanning over 30 years, mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate medical students. He has also served as a Postgraduate Examiner (MD, DMRT, DNB) for various universities across India.

He has exclusive experience in Brachytherapy and has contributed extensively to clinical and basic medical research, with numerous publications in national and international journals.

His work has significantly contributed to understanding tumor proliferation, growth factor expression, HPV-related oncogenesis, and radiation response in gynecological malignancies.
